At Partnership Academy we encourage Parent Involvement through many different activities. When enrolling; parents or guardians are required to sign a contract ensuring that they agree to participate in their children's education and to volunteer 15 hours per family during the school year. This means that parents will participate in parent-teacher conferences as well as any other school events or activities which may require parent involvement.
Additionally, there are many other activities where parents may have a chance to get involved. Parents may choose to participate in field trips, special celebrations at the school and any other activity that may arise. Parents also have the opportunity to make a difference at the school with their involvement in the monthly Patent Advisory Council (PAC) meetings.
We want our families to feel empowered and to become a vital part of the Partnership Academy community. However, the "parent involvement" does not stop there. It is important that parents continue to be involved in their child's education by helping them with reading, homework and developing positive relationships with the teachers and school staff.
